Assessment

When you feel the organisation is ready for assessment all you have to do is complete an application form. This is available in electronic format and can be emailed to our assessment team.

Investors in People assessments are conducted in a supportive, client-friendly way and focused on how the Framework supports the achievement of your organisational objectives.

As evidence is collected through interviews there is no need for you to produce a portfolio of evidence or provide huge amounts of documentation. Costs will be agreed before the assessment commences.

We will appoint a licensed Investors in People Assessor who will contact you to arrange a planning discussion and dates for the on-site interviews.

We are certain that you will find the Assessor's feedback invaluable in affirming good practice around people management and development and helping you to continuously improve.

There are two possible outcomes to a first Assessment against the Standard:

  1. If there are any gaps these will be made clear in the verbal feedback and written report so that you can develop and action plan to address these
  2. The assessor feels able to make a positive recommendation to the Recognition Panel that your organisation should be awarded the accreditation. If this is the case you will hear the final outcome within 15 working days of the final interview date.
