Following extensive consultation with recognised organisations, Investors in People have developed an exciting new way for organisations to work with the Standard.
As a recognised organisation, one of the main priorities from your first assessment may well have been accreditation, which in itself is a fantastic achievement. However as part of your continuous improvement journey the extended framework provides additional challenges and greater stretch for organisations looking to build upon this achievement.
Beyond the Standard
A wider array of options are available to help you look beyond the Standard and to become ‘World Class’. Using the extended framework may bring with it additional recognition as a bronze, silver or gold Investor in People.
You will not need to do anything differently to achieve recognition; the change will be around how Investors in People West Midlands establishes where your business priorities fit within the extended framework. Then using the themes and topics contained within the extended framework your Investors in People specialist will work with you to develop a bespoke assessment plan focused on development activity that matches your business needs, and one which shapes your Investors in People journey around them.
“It has been our best Investors in People experience yet. It has proved to be an excellent motivator and has really helped us to concentrate our minds on leadership”
