The new approach to the Standard introduces three additional awards to celebrate higher levels of achievement within the framework.
The Gold, Silver and Bronze levels reflect the number of evidence requirements your organisation has met; which ones those are of course depend on your needs and objectives.
The Standard
There are 39 set evidence requirements within The Standard, which all organisations still need to meet to become recognised as an Investors in People. Each evidence requirement in The Standard and Extended Framework is worth one point. So if you meet the Standard, your score will be 39.
Beyond the Standard
Including points at the Standard level, organisations that achieve:
- 65 evidence requirements or more will be recognised as Investors in People Bronze.
- 115 evidence requirements or more will be recognised as Investors in People Silver.
- 165 evidence requirements or more will be recognised as Investors in People Gold.
These different levels recognise continuous achievements, rewarding organisations for building on what they have previously done. Continuous improvement and the more focused way of working with the Standard are designed to help you experience the rewards of working at your own pace and within your own parameters.
Your achievement will be reflected in the Investors in People certificate you are awarded, and in the logo and plaque you will be entitled to use. Whether you receive The Standard, Gold, Silver or Bronze, you should celebrate your success.
